Is the price listed the only cost I will incur?
For the website development....ABSOLUTELY!  However, there may be other costs associated with the process.  If you need to purchase or transfer a domain name for example.  Domain name costs can vary from $10 to $35 a year, but we will explain the options.   You have the option to purchase additional functionality and images for your site.  Our design team can walk you through those options and you will know exactly how much it will cost.

Speaking of domain names, do you own the domain names or do I?
You do!  We will however register the domain name on your behalf, for a number of reasons.  So you are not bombarded with spam and "tricky" solicitations; so we can monitor renewal dates and prevent your name from expiring, and to keep DNS control in case we need to make a change.  If you decide to move your domain name to your own account, we will promptly work to transfer it out of our account.  If you already have a domain name, or would prefer to have the domain name in your own account at a reputable registrar, we can certainly work with you.  Sadly, some internet providers will hold your domain name hostage, you have to be careful.  At MDA Technologies, your domain name belongs to you!

Is this a template site?
Not exactly.  Yes the site starts as a template (as most do) but it is an independent website made up of HTML files.

Why is the way the site made so important? 
The term "template site" often refers to sites where the content is restricted to a rigid format and the same HTML (or server side code page) is used for many sites.  The content and design are pulled from a database and in essence, the site doesn't really exist on its own.  This is an inexpensive way to develop and host lots of sites on the same server without the overhead of any server setup.  If you wanted to move one of these sites to another server, you wouldn't be able to because the "template" and its underlying software is proprietary and cumbersome.  We develop our sites as independent websites so that any element of the site can be changed down the road, as your needs change.

How are these sites different from the websites you've been designing for years?

No way.  Not at all!  It's actually fun.  We will guide you through a questionnaire and have you pick some color schemes that match your "mood".  In the end, we'll show you a selection of designs that fit.  The process is quick and the results are sure to make you smile.

What if none of the designs are exactly what I want?
We can modify any of the designs for a nominal hourly fee.  The designs you can choose from are wide ranging in layouts and color schemes.  If you pick one that is close enough, it is very easy to customize the design to ensure that you get exactly the layout you want.
